Small leather pouch made by Holden & Frost, saddlers and leather good manufacturers. Used by the Light Horse during WW1, the leather pouch was used to hold .303 ammunition and were attached to a bandolier, worn over the shoulder and across the chest to give quick and easy access to the bullets. The type of metal used for the rivets is copper which is why there is sometimes a greenish tinge due to the copper oxidising in the air over time.
