The Viscounts featured John Michell, David Seymour-Smith and Lew Tamblyn. They were mainstays of the Adelaide music scene, including appearances on the television program Adelaide tonight hosted by Ernie Sigley. The photograph here show the group performing on the show with Ernie.
John Michell donated his archives to the State Library. It includes his scrapbook, wage books, photographs, correspondence to Channel 9, a notebook with song titles sung by The Viscounts at various venues, and venue schedule.
