A new goldfield discovery at Teetulpa is also mentioned.History/biographyJames Hassall was born on 3 October 1850 and was employed as a paver in London. He and his wife and children emigrated to S.A. on the 'Hesperus' which left Plymouth in 15 August 1884. In 1885 James Hassall was in the mid north of S.A. near Yunta. In 1886 the Hassall family lived at Albert Street, Parkside.
