Programme for a gala performance of the pantomime 'The Sleeping Beauty', written by Frank Dix, presented by J.C. Williamson Ltd. in honour of Sir Ross Smith and crew at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, on 25 February 1920.
Signed in pen across the top 'Wednesday 25th Feb. 1920, W.H. Shiers' (Walter Henry Shiers, mechanic on the Vickers Vimy crew).
On the back of the programme is a blue and white photograph of the Vickers Vimy aircraft, with caption: 'The Vickers-Vimy machine in which the great flight from England to Australia was accomplished', and portraits of Capt. Sir Ross M. Smith, K.B.E., M.C., D.F.C., A.F.C., and Lieut. Sir Keith Smith K.B.E., in Air Force uniforms.
