Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society Show, September 1901. The oval appears in the foreground, the Impressive Jubilee Exhibition Building is in the background. The main two storey building was designed in the classical Beaux Arts style with stucco decorations. A lookout tower offered panoramic views across Adelaide. At the rear of the building a flight of stairs connected it to the grounds below. One of the Exhibition's two fountains now stands in the Rundle Mall.
