Rod Bax was born in Adelaide in 1948; his work has been featured in solo exhibitions and he has been the recipient of many awards. Rod Bax has maintained an interest in the landscape combined with a sympathy for native fauna, being once described as a 'campaigner for animal land rights'. In 1996 he was appointed Head of Art/Design/Technology, Westminster School.
