Biography
The fabled Lawrence of Arabia (T.E. Lawrence) was a Bristish soldier, scholar and writer who mobilised the Arab Revolt during World War One.
In late 1917, Ross Smith was assigned to Lawrence as one of his pilots and saw action while in the Middle East with Lawrence. Such were Ross' exploits that he was mentioned in Chapter 114 in Lawrence's seminal of his book Seven Pillars of Wisdom. A complete copy of this publication is available via eBooks@Adelaide.
