Adelaide Festival of Arts, 2010

The twenty-sixth Adelaide Festival of Arts was held 26 February-14 March 2010, marking the event's fiftieth anniversay.

The program was put together by Artistic Director Paul Grabowsky around the theme of 'the heart'. Highlights included the opera Le Grand Macabre, contemporary dance work Good morning Mr Gershwin and play The Walworth farce. The Festival also premiered a number of Australian works including Be Your Self, Vs Macbeth, The Life and Death of King John and Man Covets Bird.

Another hugely popular attraction was Northern Lights that lit up the historical buildings along North Terrace with artistic projections.
