The GMH Cobbers Club was started by Holden's to support the employees who went into the armed services. They provided food parcels, personal comforts and entertainment, including a copy of the latest Pointers magazine and the Cobbers Club News. Produced as a foolscap page, GMH Cobbers Club News was printed on both side and folded in the middle to make four half size pages, and was usually issued weekly.
