A few of our favourite things: Treasures from the Collections of the State Library of SA

Did you know that the State Library of South Australia has over 50 kilometres of storage? It's filled with material from all over the world - from Antarctica to Ethiopia, from Glenelg to Hindley Street. It is no surprise that State Library staff have an intimate knowledge of our collections, but that doesn't stop each of us having one or two, or three or four, of our favourite things.

Join us as we share with you some of our favourite treasures from our collections, including; a corset, a brass die for upholstery manufacturing of Holden Brougham, a mud brick from Ur - the second oldest specimen of writing in our collection, and a piece of hide from the cow owned by Governor Hindmarsh.
