Wallis's elegant and instructive game exhibiting the wonders of nature in each quarter of the world

The game consists of 26 vignettes of various geological wonders around the world, placed around a spiral track. The rule book provides detailed information about each of the wonders visited, with number 13 'Arched Rock, Tologa Bay' being the nearest approach to Australia, and the only place in the southern hemisphere which is visited.

Many of the descriptions are detailed, for instance the earthquake in Lisbon in 1755 (number 3) resulted in 70,000 deaths, and in number 12 'Ice mountains at the North Pole' we are informed about three expeditions which suffered badly in their encounters with large icebergs. Peak Cavern in Derbyshire (number 15) ia another with a detailed description.

Whitehouse considered this to be one of the publisher's 'most beautiful productions'. Edward Wallis was the son of John Wallis. These two men were the leading publishers of children's games in England during the period from 1785 to 1847.
