BiographyTim Knappstein was born on 22 October 1945 at Clare. His grandfather started the Stanley Wine Co., his father was in sales. Tim went to Roseworthy in 1964. When he was 20 he was put in charge of Stanley's wine operations. Talks about changes in fermentation, the Bin series, starting a vineyard with his mother which was taken over by Mildara, moving to Lenswood and making wine at several wineries
