Ray Kidd was born in Renmark in 1926. His family had a vineyard. He was in the RAAF during World War II and then went to Roseworthy until 1948. He became the winemaker for Lindemans at Corowa in New South Wales, cellarmaster from 1951, Director and General Manager in 1962 and in 1968 Managing Director.He talks about the changes in the industry and the types of wines. They took over Leo Burings in 1962 and they were taken over by Philip Morris in 1971
