Description Transcripts of letters of Sir Ross while in A.I.F. 25 October 1914 - 15 September 1918; letters by General Borten and others; a memoir of Sir Ross by Dr A.A. Lendon, December 1928; honours awarded to Ross; extract from T.E. Lawrence's 'Revolt in the Desert'; recollections of J.G. Howard; and newspaper cuttings related to the death of Andrew Smith, 1924. They were put together as a collection by Dr A.A. Lendon under the title 'Letters of Sir Ross Smith / with eulogistic letters by General Borton, recollections of friends, etc'. The transcripts include manuscript annotations and corrections.
