Camel cacolets

Types of cacolets which were used by the Australian Army Medical Corps in the early part of the campaign for transport of the wounded. A lighthorseman is lying down on one side of the stretcher demonstrating how a patient is carried by the camel. Original photograph B02483 held by the Australian War Memorial.
